- A deadline date for entries shall be set, after which date absolutely no entries will be accepted.
- Only paid members in good standing may submit entries.
- Entries must be submitted on a printed form, copies of which are available from the Recital Chairman.
- Except for special recitals, each member may submit no more than ten minutes total playing time.
- For Honors Recitals Only: Music must be memorized.
- Dress code required. Students should wear formal or semiformal attire such as dressy dresses for girls and dress shirts and ties for boys. Length of skirt when seated should be no shorter than the top of knee cap. The following would be considered improper for recitals:

* tight clothing
* t-shirts
* spaghetti-strap tops
* bare midriffs
* athletic shoes
